Installation method of stair marble tiles 


    Preparations → elastic line → trial spelling → numbering → brushing cement slurry bonding layer → laying mortar → → laying marble blocks → filling and wiping seams → waxing.


    Preparatory work: Familiar with drawings: Based on large construction drawings and processing sheets, familiarize yourself with the dimensions and practices of various parts, and clarify the relationship between corners and other parts. Basic treatment: Clean the sundries on the ground cushion, brush off the mortar adhered to the cushion with a wire brush and clean it up.


    Trial spelling: Before laying, the marble slabs of each step should be trialed in pattern, color and texture, and placed neatly according to the number.


    Play the control cross-hairs that are perpendicular to each other at the main parts to check and control the position of the marble slabs.


    Line up the marble slabs so that the gaps between the slabs can be checked.


    Brush the cement slurry bonding layer: Clean the concrete cushion again before laying the mortar, then use a watering can to sprinkle water to wet it, and brush a layer of plain cement slurry (the water-cement ratio is about 0.5, and the mortar is spread with the brush).


    Laying mortar: According to the horizontal line, determine the thickness of the ground leveling layer, and lay the leveling layer cement mortar (1:3 dry-hard cement mortar is generally used for the leveling layer. After paving, use a large bar to level it, and then pat it with a trowel to level it. The thickness of the leveling layer should be 3-4mm higher than the level of the marble surface.


    Laying marble blocks: Generally, they should be laid according to the control line. Before laying, the board should be pre-soaked and dried in the shade for later use. First, test the laying, align the vertical and horizontal joints, and check whether the upper surface of the mortar matches the board. First, pour a layer of plain cement mortar binding layer with a water-cement ratio of 0.5 on the cement mortar leveling layer, and then lay the marble slab. The iron level is leveled, and the joints between the marble slabs should be strict, generally leaving no gaps.


    Wipe the seam: 1 to 2 days and nights after paving, grouting and wiping the seam. According to the color of the marble, choose the same color mineral pigment and mix evenly with cement to make a 1:1 thin cement slurry, slowly pour it into the gap between the marble slabs with a slurry pot, and use a long scraper to feed the outflowing cement slurry into the gap. After grouting for 1 to 2 hours, use cotton silk balls dipped in the original thin grout to wipe the seam, wipe the board surface flat, and at the same time wipe the grout on the board surface.


    Waxing can only be done when each process is completed and no longer can be used to achieve smoothness and cleanliness.


    Construction in winter: the temperature of raw materials and operating environment shall not be lower than +5℃, no sand with frozen blocks shall be used, and there shall be no freezing phenomenon on the surface of the plate.
