Ceramic tiles are generally monochromatic, not as rich, and varied as mosaics. Mosaic has high-temperature resistance, radiation resistance, water and acid resistance, and high compressive strength. The anti-skid performance of mosaic is better than that of ceramic tile.
The tiles have the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, frost and thaw resistance, anti-seismic and crack resistance, water repellency, and air permeability. The tiles are not easy to fall off and are safer than mosaic.
The mosaic is small in size and can be assembled into various decorative patterns. It is suitable for small-area decoration. Because of the good lighting effect of the mosaic, it is often used in places with dark surroundings at night and on indoor walls and floors. Ceramic tiles are suitable for large-area decoration, mainly laid on indoor floors, decorative walls, kitchen and toilet walls, and outdoor decorative exterior walls.
As the toilet is a place with heavy water vapor, the problem of moisture-proof and waterproof must be considered.
